CityGuyd provides travelers with an augmented reality-based
tour guide, creating a personal experience in a convenient and accessible
format and multiple languages.
The system tracks GPS signals to ensure users
only receive content relevant to the sites they choose to visit. Additionally, CityGuyd serves as an
in-house studio creating custom AR tour content for groups such as tourism
boards, museums, conferences, airlines and more.
Goals for 2021
Looking towards 2021, CityGuyd sees immense opportunity to revolutionize the way the world travels given the COVID-19 pandemic. We have spent the last few years trying to convince the world of the need to "digitize" the tour guide experience - and COVID has only made that need more apparent.
We are on track to release multiple new AR tour packages in 2021 - including AR campus tours for universities (featuring school mascots as your guide), a dozen new city tour packages across the U.S. and Europe, a few AR museum tours, as well as continuing to onboard more third-party tour guide content creators to expand our availability across the world!
And as if that wasn't enough, 2021 will hopefully see the release of our AR tour guide application on consumer-oriented AR glasses platforms - for a completely hands free AR tour experience!
