TravelPerk has pedigree in the shape of its co-founder, who created and sold Hotel Ninjas to Booking.com, where he met his fellow founder of the business.

TravelPerk has received a lot of funding for its corporate travel bookings solution with a twist. The product is getting attention for its slick interface, automated features and other tools that traditional travel management companies may have taken years to perfect.

Goals for 2019

A recent injection of $44 million, led by Kinnevik, Yuri Milner and Tom Stafford, will equip TravelPerk to expand into new markets and open its first office in the United Kingdom with Berlin, Amsterdam and Paris to follow.

It will also grow its client base by working more with small enterprises like customers Aesop, Bowers & Wilkins, Adyen and Farfetch.
