Hot 25 Startups 2019: Sleepbox

Sleepbox is ambitious, having developed its modular, tech-enabled sleeping units for travelers at a lounge in Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C.

The next phase is to develop the concept for budding hoteliers to create their own properties in prime locations to give consumers the opportunity to rest before moving on. The company is also launching its first city-hotel in Boston and has plans to roll out to another five airports.

Goals for 2019

Over the next year, Sleepbox aims to perfect operations and the guest experience of its lounge in Dulles Airport. It also plans to open five new locations in airports as well as launch its city-hotel pilot.

The company will also use 2019 to prove the concept, raise funds and prepare for its next big step.
