Guesty expands hotel offerings with acquisition of YieldPlanet

One month after raising $170 million in a Series E round , property management platform Guesty has announced its acquisition of hotel-focused revenue and distribution platform YieldPlanet .

Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Guesty is also launching a new Distribution Hub, which will include direct connections with Hopper, Trip.com, Marriott Homes & Villas and Google’s hotel and vacation rental search products. Guesty already has integrations with Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, Expedia, Tripadvisor, Agoda and Misterbnb.

The company says the Hub, and the integration of YieldPlanet’s technology, will enable hospitality operators to manage traditional hotel content, revenue and vacation rental offerings in one dashboard.

“With PMCs (property management companies) competing for diverse consumers and travel personas seeking every accommodation under the sun, we are thrilled to offer additional distribution for our Guesty users through direct integration of YieldPlanet and the formation of the Guesty Distribution Hub,” says Yair Holtzer, vice president of strategy at Guesty.

YieldPlanet provides revenue and distribution solutions for more than 4,000 clients in more than 85 countries. Founded in 2009, it has offices in Spain, Switzerland and Poland. YieldPlanet CEO Claudio Limacher will continue to serve in that role, operating the company semi-independently.
